Assisting Scania to present new generation of trucks in Sweden

–– Print Production

Scania AB is a leading producer of trucks and buses, as well as top supplier of engines and services. Scania aspires to provide customers with top quality transportation machinery. It puts high focus on sustainability of its products and every customer of theirs can feel that care.

In August 2016 Scania finally presented its long awaited new generation of trucks. In Sweden new trucks were first introduced at Elmia Lastbil fair in Jönköping. Sitrus Ukraine helped Scania to create 5 webpages with impressive facts about new vehicles as well as schedule of Scania’s shows during the exhibition. Fair visitors could scan QR codes around Scania pavilion and get to know that new trucks save up to 5% of fuel compared to older ones and much more.

Our main challenge in this project was short deadline. Respectively we have chosen a fast and reliable tool for the job – Adobe Muse, which allows for quick prototyping. Landing pages were completed and published within 3 days after client request. Not only we managed to meet the deadline, we also provided customer with means to edit the content via handy admin interface, so they were able to update web pages on the fly.

Printed materials for Elmia Lastbil

Is a fair possible without paper leaflets? Not until all visitors wear augmented reality glasses. Thus besides web pages we supplied customer with printable banners with information on the new truck platform and traditional Scania services such as Fleet Management System.

Presentation tour map

Shortly after the first presentation in Jönköping two Scania teams started a domestic tour across more than 50 cities of Sweden. In order to communicate the tour dates and progress to observers customer wanted to create an interactive map. Based on Google Maps service we created HTML page which features tour places and dates. It also automatically shows the advancement of presentation teams in the North and South of Sweden.
